About Us
Patrick Ferris, Electrician
Starting out working for a well-known security and alarm company, Patrick learned the in's and out's for security systems. He worked on everything from small camera projects to major commercial accounts installing fire alarm and card access systems. After working for the security company for 3 years, he moved onto a major electrical contractor in Southwestern Pennsylvania. There he learned the electrical trade, attending 4 years of schooling to become registered as a Certified Journeyman Electrician with the State of Pennsylvania. Patrick worked for almost ten years with that company before starting Ferris Electric. Since then he has continued adding to his repertoire and also is a City of Pittsburgh Licensed Electrician.
Sherri Ferris, Manager
Sherri started out also working for a well-known security and alarm company on the office end of things. From there, she went to work for a commercial/residential management company where she worked with various construction trades for new construction and renovations, including contracts, AIA Forms, change orders, deadlines and tenant/customer service. She then went to work for a commercial loan brokerage firm located in Downtown Pittsburgh which handled acquiring loans for commercial business owners to purchase or build. There she helped with loan portfolios, leases, and worked closely with the mortgage underwriters. After that she worked with a commercial general and managing contractor preparing executive summaries, letters of interest, scope of service handouts and bid proposals.
With both the field and office experience, we are able to conduct our business in the way that best suits our customers.
